Bajaj Finance increases FD interest rates by up to 20 bps

Bajaj Finance, the lending and investing arm of , has raised interest rates on its fixed deposits by up to 20 basis points for tenors ranging from 24 to 60 months (except 44 months).

The enhanced Bajaj Finance FD rates of up to 20 basis points go into effect from June 14, 2022, and will apply to new deposits as well as renewals of maturing accounts.

According to a company press release, “Bajaj Finance Fixed Deposit has the highest stability ratings with CRISIL’s FAAA/Stable rating and ICRA’s MAAA (stable) rating offering one of the safest investment options for investors.”

Deposits held for 36 to 60 months will now yield a cumulative return of up to 7.20 percent following the change. Senior citizens can benefit from 0.25 percent higher FD rates, resulting in guaranteed returns of 7.45 percent for 36 to 60 months.

Senior individuals can now earn up to 6.85 percent per year for a tenor of 24 to 35 months and 7.45 percent per year for a tenor of 36 to 60 months.


Bajaj Finance Special FD Interest Rates

Fixed Deposits from Bajaj Finance offer unique interest rates to all consumers. With special interest rates, can now select certain tenors to receive interest rates as high as 7.35 percent per annum.

Customers under 60 years of age can earn 7.35 percent per annum on a 44-month FD, while senior persons can earn up to 7.60 percent per annum.
